Skirwell
Skirwell is a French composer of electronic music. This self-taught musician has been writing and playing music since the early 2000s, mainly on piano, guitar, bass and drums. In 2018, he officially launches his electronic music project.
His influences are very broad, symphonic music, film music, video game music, progressive rock, post-rock and metal, without forgetting world music. In the field of electronic music, he particularly appreciates deep house, melodic techno, progressive house, electro-rock and '8 bits' music but also more energetic styles such as trance, techno, dubstep, hardstyle and even hardcore. It is this eclecticism that gives him his very rich electro-prog style which is, in fact, almost impossible to sum up in one single genre.
He is also a live performer, his technique is halfway between DJ and keyboardist. He has created and continues to develop a completely personalized setup with cleverly arranged MIDI controllers, finely tuned software, scripts and electronic circuits that he himself has created and programmed, and above all, a library of his own sounds that he enriches track after track.
